EuroISPA is delighted to present to you its Annual Policy Report 2023 – Brussels Outlook 2024, which contains an overview of the Association’s main activities of 2023, a presentation of what’s ahead in 2024, and dedicated insights on its policy focus areas.

In 2023, EuroISPA and its committees were busy bringing their work forward on a number of key policy areas for European ISPs, and contributed to shaping the debate around policy files in the fields of online content, data economy, cybersecutiy and infrastructure.

But other than EuroISPA’s work in the past year, this report will dive into our recommendations for an innovative and fair European Internet ecosystem with our Manifesto for the 2024 European Elections, and will give an outlook on what the EU policy landscape holds in the coming months.

Our officers, committee chairs and members give insights into current topics of relevance for ISPs such as combating online piracy, the impact of Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity in the EU, the future of connectivity, the EuroISPA community, and much more.

Once again, EuroISPA is happy to have worked alongside our members with the goal of contributing to the development of the sector to ensure its safety and sustainability.

EuroISPA is delighted to present to you its Annual Policy Report 2022 – Brussels Outlook 2023, which contains an overview of the Association’s main activities of 2022, with dedicated insights on its policy focus areas, as well as a presentation of what’s ahead in 2023.

In 2022, EuroISPA and its committees were busy bringing their work forward on a number of key policy areas for European ISPs, and contributed to shaping the debate around policy files such as the proposed CSAM Regulation, the Digital Services Act, the upcoming Regulation on the online piracy of live events, and more.

But other than EuroISPA’s work in the past work, this report will give a chance to have an outlook on what the EU policy landscape holds in 2023 on a number of relevant areas for the European Internet industry.

EuroISPA Annual Policy Report 2021

January 17th 2023 – EuroISPA is delighted to launch its Annual Policy Report 2021, which contains an overview of the Association’s main activities of 2021, as well as dedicated insights on its policy focus areas.

The year 2021 was a busy and eventful one, with EuroISPA working on several important policy areas. Our Association has continuously worked on files dealing with intermediary liability, cybersecurity, safer internet, innovation, and data protection. EuroISPA was able to progress on priority files such as the Digital Services Act (DSA), and the Directive on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, among many others.

In the year of its 25th anniversary, EuroISPA is happy to have worked alongside our members and to have actively participated in the discussions of key files and followed the legislative developments at EU level. Our mission is to contribute to the development of the sector to ensure its safety and sustainability.

EuroISPA Annual Policy Report 2020

June 29th 2021 – EuroISPA is delighted to launch its Annual Policy Report 2020, which provides an overview of the principal activities of 2020 and insights into the policy focus areas of the Association.

Whilst the past year presented many challenges and obstacles across the globe and across industries, EuroISPA was able to maintain its momentum on priority files such as the Digital Services Act (DSA), which was unveiled in December 2020, and other issues such as Cooperation with Law Enforcement, Data Protection, Safer Internet, and Cybersecurity, among many others. EuroISPA is happy to have provided members with the key information on the legislative developments at EU level, and to have contributed to the discussions around policies that will have long-lasting impacts on the sector.

Annual Report 2019: The Voice of the European Internet Industry

We are happy to share with you our Annual Report for 2019, which documents the achievements and engagement of the association over the course of last year.

In 2019, EuroISPA has been able to engage on several important policy issues, focussing on intermediary liability, data protection, and the legal framework for the cross-border exchange of electronic evidence, among other things. We are proud of our continuing efforts and engagement on these files, and of being the first industry association to have established a position on the Digital Services Act, a particular priority in the coming years.

EuroISPA Annual Report 2016

This year EuroISPA celebrates its 20th year of existence as the representative body for European Internet services providers. The association was established all those years ago with the aim of elevating the voice of the fledging Internet industry and ensuring that EU and international regulation encouraged innovation in the exciting new sector. As we look back on the activities and achievements of EuroISPA in 2016, we clearly see that the founding members’ ambition bears more relevance than ever
